What Are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions are eyelashes made of synthetic materials that are placed on natural eyelashes in order to give them a longer or fuller look.
Can I choose the look I want? Yes. However, at STUDIO510 we will never overload your natural lashes or cause damage. Therefore you must have realistic expectations of what we can safely achieve on them. If you have strong natural lashes, you will be able to achieve a fuller look, where as if you have sparse lashes your set will not look as full. Every set is customized, styled and created for you by using the correct thickness, length and curl. This will be discussed during your client consultation.
How long will my Eyelash Extensions Last?
Natural eyelashes grow and shed daily, with the average person losing 2-5 natural lashes per eye, per day. This means that if you would like to keep your eyelash extensions looking their best, fills are should be done every 2-3 weeks. Also, proper care plays a big role in your lash retention. Please read through the After Care page for detailed information.
If you are getting them done only for a special occasion, you can let them shed naturally over the course of 3-6 weeks, or get them removed. Please do not attempt to remove them yourself.
How long will my appointment take?
The initial full set of eyelash extensions can take anywhere from / Classic: 1-2 hours /Volume: 2-3 hours. Fills range from 1-2 hours.
Why do some eyelash technicians charge higher prices?
The application of quality eyelash extensions is a very intricate skill that can only be done by a highly trained and skilled professional. Good technicians invest heavily into their training, and continue to train to keep current. Also, lash products used will vary on the salon. Here at STUDIO510 we only use medical grade, highest quality products offered in the industry!
Will extensions damage my eyelashes?
Yes. Your lashes can get damaged if you go to someone who was not properly trained and uses products not intended for long wear.
No. If extensions are properly applied by a certified, trained technician who uses quality products, it should not. Our eyelash extension application techniques and aftercare ensures your lash health. It is also recommended to use a eyelash serum (available for purchase) to keep your natural eyelashes strong and healthy, and to ensure that you are able to achieve your desired look.
