After Care
Please read the following aftercare instructions to best maintain your lashes
* Do not get your extensions wet for the first 24 hours – (exposing your new extensions to any moisture such as steam, high humidity, and water, will result in the lash glue over-curing and becoming brittle and may cause your extensions to fall off within a few days.)
*After 24 hours, keep your extensions clean – (clean them gently, with a designated lash cleanser. Bodily oils travel onto your extensions and break down the adhesive. Failure to clean your lashes will not only result in poor retention, but the build-up of bacteria can lead to eye infections.)
*Keep oil-based products away from your extensions - (oily products are absorbed into the skin, and exit through your pores, including your eyelids. This oil can travel onto the extensions and break down the glue.)
*Brush your extensions a few times a day to keep them looking neat, tidy and uniform. (you can purchase a nutritional lash coating to extend the wear of your lash extensions in between fills.)
*Avoid rubbing your eyes. (After showering, it best to blot eyes with a towel and let them air dry. You can also dry the lashes by using a hair dryer on the cool setting and blowing them dry from the bottom up.)
*Do not pick or pull at your extensions.
*Do not use eyelash curlers with your extensions.
*Use only mascaras that are safe for eyelash extensions. (no oil-based or waterproof mascaras. We have extension safe mascaras available for purchase. Only apply the mascara to the tips of your lashes.)
*It is normal to lose a few extensions from the very first day. (A normal lash shed is 3-5 lashes per eye, per day. Please do not be alarmed if you lose a few lashes per day, including the first day)
